Maggie Grace is an American actress who was born Margaret Grace Denig in 1983. Her best-known roles include Shannon Rutherford, a character in ABC's Lost series, and Kim Mills from the Taken trilogy. Her birthplace was Worthington in Ohio. She was kicked out of school after her parents divorced to go in Los Angeles to live with her mother. They were struggling to get by and was offered her first part in the acting world in the film Rachel's Room's main character. Following her win of a Young Artist Award in 2002 due to her role in Murder on the streets of Greenwich of 15 year young Martha Moxley as a murder victim, she went on to win. Grace played Shannon Rutherford on the Lost TV show in 2004. She was the main protagonist for two seasons and also won an award for her performance, a Screen Actors Guild Award.
