Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is an Romanian actress and television presenter. She's best known as the main character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control as well as Rush. She was the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareu, Alexandra started her professional career in the show business at an early age. At the age of 16, she reached the age of sixteen, she had secured prominent roles in a variety of TV dramas. Following her highly acclaimed performance in the television film Der Tunnel, Alexandra went into other notable characters like Adolf Hitler's secretary, Traudljunge, on Downfall. Downfall won an Oscar and was a critical as well as commercial success. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are also Oscar nominated films that feature models. In the past, Alexandra was involved in numerous important international and national productions. Some of these include the British biographical documentary Control, the Greek drama movie The Dust of Time, as well as the French historic miniseries Napoleon. She was also an active member of the Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
