Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks (born April 15, 1977) is an American actor who is best known for playing Joan Holloway during the first seven seasons AMC's historical drama Mad Men. Her work in the series won her critical appreciation and six Emmy award nominations for the top acting category for supporting actors. In the course of her professional career, she gained recognition for her part in the comedy drama Another Period, a crime drama called Tin Star. Films in which she has been praised for her role in Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River The Neon Demon The Strangers: Prey at Night Egg and American Woman. Her voice was used in animation films like Toy Story 4, Scoob! and From Up on Poppy Hill. She began as a fashion model, and worked in that field for many years prior to making her debut on television with Undressed.
